Banddy (“Banddy”, “we”, “us”) provides a live performance toolkit for bands and musicians (the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

2) How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Provide and operate the Service (create bands, manage songs, run sessions, show lyrics).
- Sync your content across devices and band members you invite.
- Enable guest features (QR sharing, requests, votes, tips where enabled).
- Protect the Service (fraud prevention, abuse detection, security features such as single-device enforcement if enabled).
- Improve performance, reliability, and user support.
3) How We Share Information
We share data only as needed to provide the Service:
- With your band members
- With service providers
- For legal reasons
We do not sell your personal information.
Shared songs (Common Library):
Banddy lets you optionally submit specific songs you created (including lyrics, chords, and related metadata) to a Banddy “Common Library” so other Banddy users can discover and use them. Only songs you explicitly choose to submit are considered for the Common Library, and submissions may be reviewed and approved by administrators before being published. Once a song is approved and published to the Common Library, it may be visible to other users and may be copied into their own libraries or used in their sessions/setlists.
If you want a song removed from the Common Library after it has been approved, you must contact us at privacy@banddy.com with your request. We will review and respond in accordance with applicable laws and our policies.
4) Payments and Subscriptions
Subscriptions and in-app purchases are processed by Apple App Store and/or Google Play. We do not receive your full payment card details. We may receive purchase status/entitlement information (e.g., subscription active/expired) to unlock premium features.
5) Data Retention
We keep data as long as you maintain an account or as needed to provide the Service. You can request deletion of your account and associated data, subject to legal or operational requirements.
6) Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7) Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your data, and to object or restrict certain processing.

8) Children’s Privacy
Banddy is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9) International Transfers

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version and update the effective date.
